Halloween Videos

Halloween Pictures - Our Little T-Rex

Jake had a great time Halloween weekend. We went to the neighborhood party on Saturday afternoon, as Andy & I had to work some of the games and he had a blast. He jumped on the big inflatable for a few minutes, before the big kids got there and then found the buried treasure game. He loved holding the tools and digging in the sand. We lasted a good hour in the costume before nap time hit and he was too hot to take it anymore!!

We tried Trick or Treating and Andy & I took turns trying to take him to houses, but he was more interested in walking up and down the street and waving at the kids. We made it all the way up to only one door - b/c Andy carried him up to see our friend Karen. So, I think Dad was a little disappointed he didn't get any candy.

Waving at the Trick or Treaters that were walking by.

Having a good time with Dad getting ready for Trick or Treating.

Kevin & Luisa's Wedding

Andy looked great in a tux. But for some reason, we never got a photo of us together with our camera. Oh well. Here are some photos. Andy was the Best Man and did an excellent job. He didn't lose the rings and he gave a great toast. I have the wedding video, but its over 20 mins and I'm sure you all know what happens at weddings - I do, I do, kiss...married.

PIctures from G & G Baur's

While we were enjoying Kevin & Luisa's wedding - Jake was having a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Baur. He loved tackling Grandpa and giving all kinds of hugs to Grandma. Hopefully he'll stay this sweet to everyone!

Grandma B Visits

So I had to leave my boys once again and go to Chicago to learn about the Lap-Band for our Bariatric Program. Very Exciting Stuff. Andy was lucky enough to get Grandma B come down to help while I was away and here are some of her pics. We are finally cutting a few more teeth - the one on the bottom is actually cutting through, so it is really happening this time!!! Otherwise, we are pointing all the time, grabbing my nose and everyone else's, trying out words like "more" and "Tuuuukaaaaiiiiiiii"!

I last in my chair for about 2 seconds at a time.

HALLOWEEN - YEAHHHHHHH!

I am going to get CANDY!!!

Happy Boy!

Look at all my toys!!!

Jake on his Birthday

Birthday Video 1 - The Radio Flyer

Jake Birthday Pics...Finally

Ok - I'm back. It only took getting my computer reimaged to get everything figured out...I think.

The month since Jake's birthday has flown by and encompassed a visit to the pediatrician where he weighed in at 26.1 pounds, had grown to 32.5 inches. He is incredibly healthy and we're very lucky! The doc said he should have the upper teeth cutting through any day - and his gums are swollen and look like something could cut at any minute, but still nothing.

We had a nice little birthday weekend for the boys. Andy got a record player and has been scouring Amazon and some local record stores looking for some classics. Hopefully he's going to figure out how to attach it to the computer soon, so we can download them and put them on the pods. Also, G&G Baur came down on Saturday to spend some time with the boy and he adores Grandpa Baur. Grandpa plays rough and he loves it! Not sure Grandma got enough hugs and kisses, but do you ever?? Then on Sunday Poppy and Jordan came down to eat some cake and ice cream. P&J gave Jake the radio flyer that he loved in his professional pictures and all he wanted to do was push it instead of ride - hard to keep up with moving parts when you don't have great balance!

Enjoy!!!

Jake at the Wave Tank

Jake loves the Wave Tank at the Aquarium. It simulates the tide going in and out with a giant reef. He was fascinated by the fish going back and forth. The last time we were there he liked the colors - this time he was really focused on the movement. This was during our visit from Uncle Michael & Aunt Laura. They were fun to hang out with and Jake really enjoyed all the love and attention he got from them!

Jake's 1 year Photos

Jake did an amazing job at his second professional photo shoot. I don't think he remembers the first one, since he was only a day old, but he's a natural. These are just some of the 80 shots that we have on CD and we do have a bunch of hardcopies that we will be getting to the grandparents soon...

But enjoy some of our favorites in the meantime...some of his expressions are PRICELESS!!!

I am a serious athlete. Seriously Serious.

Wait - this thing moves....AAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHH!

He had so much fun on the radio flyer - Andy thinks we need one at home!

He did not like the profile shots at all - he did not want to cooperate on these and the lighting wouldn't work - maybe because he's so pale, like his mother???

He loved that bear!!!!
